The Arts Council of Lapland is affiliated with the state arts administration and together they form a regional unit, which works in Lapland region.

Field of action

The Arts Council's field of action is the progress of regional art and cultural life, strengthening of the regional cultural identity and accompanying the entire cultural development of the province and municipalities of Lapland.
